Ecology Digital Interactive Notebook

This is a bundle of various ecology activities that is totally DIGITAL! They are designed to be used on Google Drive (and can also be used on Microsoft OneDrive).
This original product is provided through a link to Google Drive, and allows you and your students to access, edit, and print files from any computer or device. Students work on their digital INB directly in the file on their device or computer. This product will also work with Microsoft OneDrive (instructions included). Everything you need is found in the zip folder (PDF with directions and links).
The following is included with the Ecology bundle of digital activities:
Ecosystems Digital Notebook
✿Ecosystems Digital Notebook- 6 pages of different activities that focus on the levels of ecological organization, abiotic factors, biotic factors, population vs. community, habitat, and interdependence of ecosystems.
✿Symbiotic Relationships in Ecosystems- a page dedicated to each type of symbiotic relationship. Students read the example and then label and define each.
✿Primary Succession Timeline- modified from my paper version, this is a digital drop and drag version complete with analysis questions (2 pages).
✿Ecological Succession of a Pond- students explore the secondary succession of a pond - drag and drop and answer analysis questions (3 pages).
Energy Flow in Ecosystems:
What's Included:
✿Food Chain Warm up or Bellringer- students come up with their own food chain (4 organisms) and label them (1 page).
✿Build an Energy Pyramid- students build an energy pyramid and answer questions (2 pages).
✿Build an Arctic Food Web- students drag and drop organisms to build a food web and answer questions (4 pages).
✿Build a Savannah Food Web- this particular food web has more organisms and less structure- designed for students to use after they have had some familiarity (1 page).
Population Growth in Ecosystems:
✿Mice Population Warm Up (Graph analysis)- 1 page
✿Population Growth Vocabulary Flip Book- 4 pages; covers dispersion patterns, density independent factors, density dependent factors
✿Brown Trout Population Growth- 5 pages; students fill in a chart to determine the population growth (or negative growth) or a brown trout population in Scotland. Students graph right in Google Drive!
✿Predator-Prey Relationship- 4 pages; Students answer questions pertaining to a chart that depicts the population size of lynx population and hare population. Then they must graph a wolf and caribou population and analyze it (they do this right in Google Drive- no paper!)
