Looking for a FUN and engaging way to teach your students about the body systems? Students can travel from station to station - OR- you can print smaller versions and have the students use the cards as independent centers. Their task is to analyze the cards in different ways and write the answers on the sheet provided (see preview). Inspired by the Bodies Exhibit, my exhibition labs always go above and beyond- exploring interesting facts, medical conditions, as well as the traditional classroom knowledge, without getting too off-track. Best of all, they are learning all on their own, this is a student-lead activity, which can give you a break from the spotlight. It's a win-win!
Many stations involve students deducing the answers based on the text provided, as well as several mini lab exercises that can be done based on the materials you have available to you.
ELEVEN body system exhibition labs are included:
✽ Circulatory System Exhibition Stations
✽ Digestive System Stations
✽ Muscular System Exhibition Stations
✽ Respiratory System Exhibition Stations
✽ Skeletal System Stations
✽ Nervous System Exhibition Stations
✽ Endocrine Exhibition Stations
✽ Reproductive System Exhibition Stations
✽ Integumentary System Exhibition Stations
✽ Excretory System Exhibition Stations
✽ Immune System Exhibition Stations
All are completely editable.
The task cards come with an editable version as well as a student answer sheet. Students use this sheet to record their information as they gather data from the stations. Answer keys included.
